The Rulebook
DRAFT ORDER RULES
The Pitch2Pro Draft follows a FIFA Seeding format across 10 rounds. Teams are seeded based on coach rankings, and the draft order remains consistent throughout all rounds to reward strategic preparation.
Selection Order
Draft order is determined by inverse tryout evaluation scores. The coach whose team scored lowest in pre-draft evaluations picks first in Round 1. Order reverses each round (snake draft).
11 Rounds, 44 Players
Each coach selects 11 players across 11 rounds. Every round, each coach makes one pick. All 44 players from the tryout Top 44 are drafted — no one is left behind.
Position Balance Rule
Each team must draft at least 2 goalkeepers, 3 defenders, 3 midfielders, and 2 forwards. The final pick is a flex position of the coach's choice.
Trade Window
After Round 5, coaches may propose one player-for-player trade. Both coaches must agree. Trades are announced live and are final.
Coach's Wildcard
Each coach has one Wildcard pick — they can jump the queue and select any available player out of turn. This can only be used once during the entire draft.
Live & Transparent
The entire draft is streamed live. Every pick, every reaction, every strategy revealed in real time. Fans can watch and vote on predicted picks.
